Rectangular glass panels with a rippled, water-like surface hang in four square tiers, each tier smaller than the one above it. A gold frame runs through the middle and is visible through the glass, and four gold chains lift the fixture from a round gold canopy. Lit, the light warms to a pale gold behind the ripples.
It comes in two sizes, 80cm and 100cm wide. It suits a dining table, a kitchen island, a stairwell, or an entryway, wherever you want a large fixture with a lot of texture in the glass.

FAQ
Which size suits my table or room?
A common rule is to pick a fixture at least 12″ narrower than the table. By that rule, the 31.5″ size suits a table about 44″ wide or larger, and the 39.4″ size suits a table about 52″ wide or larger. Because the tiers are square, it sits most naturally over a square or round table, a kitchen island, or the middle of a stairwell or foyer.
How is it hung, and can I make it hang lower?
It hangs from four gold chains attached to a round canopy. A 19″ chain is included, and we can supply a longer one if you ask. Over a table, a common guide is to hang the bottom 30″ to 36″ above the tabletop, and in a walkway at least 7 feet above the floor. Send us your ceiling height and where you want the bottom to sit, and we will confirm the chain length.
What colour is the glass, and what will I see through it?
The glass is listed as clear, with a rippled surface like water. Against the gold frame and warm light, it reads as a pale champagne tone, and the ripples catch the light in streaks. You can see the gold frame and sockets through the glass, and the bulbs look softened and broken up by the ripples.
What bulbs can I use, and how bright can they be?
The socket is E14, which is slightly wider than the E12 base common in the US, so check the base on the bulb box. Each socket is rated for up to 40W, so you can stay at or below that with incandescent bulbs, or choose LED bulbs that give the brightness you want. LEDs run cooler, which is kinder to the glass and the frame over time.
Do I need an electrician? Where can't I hang it?
It is hardwired and we recommend professional installation. It is made for indoor and dry locations, rated IP20, which means no protection against water. Do not hang it in a bathroom, over a shower or bathtub, or on a covered patio.
Can I dim it?
It is listed as compatible with common wall switches, which are not included. Dimming is not listed. If you want to use a dimmer, ask us first so we can confirm it works with your bulbs and setup.
How do I clean four tiers of rippled glass?
Switch it off and let the bulbs cool. Start at the top tier and work down, so dust falls onto panels you have not cleaned yet. Use a soft, dry brush to get into the ripples, then wipe each panel with a microfiber cloth, holding it steady. Keep liquid cleaners off the gold finish.
