Flower Glass Wall Sconce

The frosted glass petals sit in front of the bulb rather than around a fully exposed socket, so what you get is a soft wash of light spreading across the flowers and onto the wall, not a visible bulb or a sharp beam. It reads more like a lit sculpture than a reading light, so pair it with another fixture if you need task lighting in the same spot.

Look for an E14 (small Edison screw) bulb. Since the glow comes through frosted glass rather than a clear shade, a frosted or opal bulb will look more even than a clear filament one, which can create a slightly uneven hot spot behind the petals.

There's no built-in switch on the fixture itself – it's wired to an external wall switch, and the switch isn't included. Because it's hardwired rather than plug-in, this is a job for a qualified electrician rather than something you wire in yourself.

Its IP20 rating means it's built for indoor use only, with no protection against moisture, so it's not suited to a bathroom or anywhere that could see direct splashes or steam close up. A bedroom, hallway, or living room wall is the right setting for it.

Turn the light off and let the bulb cool first, since glass left warm is more prone to cracking if it's then touched with a cool cloth. Dust each petal individually with a soft, dry cloth or a makeup brush for the tighter gaps near the stamens, rather than wiping across the whole cluster at once – that's what tends to catch an edge and chip it.
