A tall clear glass cylinder bisected by a solid brass collar and backplate, holding two exposed tubular bulbs facing opposing directions. Mounted vertically, it functions as a streamlined architectural bracket flank beside mirrors or down hallways; mounted horizontally, it serves as a balanced over-mirror or headboard accent.
The clear glass shade leaves the filament lines entirely visible, casting direct, unobstructed light upward and downward with warm 360-degree perimeter glow—best paired with T10 or T30 tubular filament bulbs to preserve the continuous column profile.

FAQ
What bulb dimensions fit inside the narrow glass tube?
Standard pear-shaped A19 bulbs will not fit inside the narrow cylindrical glass shade. You will need tubular bulbs—specifically T10 (approx. 30mm / 1.2″ diameter) or slim T30 tubular bulbs with an E27 (or E26) base. Make sure the total length of each bulb does not exceed 18–22cm so the tip remains comfortably inside the glass rim.
Can this sconce be used in a bathroom or powder room?
It is rated IP20, meaning it has no ingress protection against water spray or dense condensation. It is entirely safe for a dry powder room or placed well away from wet zones on a well-ventilated master bathroom wall flanking a vanity mirror. It should not be installed inside a walk-in shower enclosure or directly over an unvented tub where steam accumulates.
Can it be mounted horizontally above a mirror or picture frame?
Yes. The internal socket assembly and central collar retain the glass securely whether the backplate is positioned vertically or horizontally. When mounting horizontally above a mirror, verify that your recessed junction box is centered with the mirror width before securing the bracket.
Does the backplate cover a standard US 4-inch round/octagonal junction box?
The central rectangular brass backplate measures approximately 4.3″ (11cm) across, which closely aligns with the outer diameter of a standard 4″ electrical box. To ensure a completely flush and clean edge without visible drywall cuts, verify your wall box is neatly recessed and mudded tight before final plate installation.
How do you change the bulbs once the fixture is on the wall?
You do not need to take the brass mount off the wall. The glass cylinder is held in place by threaded knurled collars at the center bracket. Turn off power at the wall switch, gently unscrew the retaining collar, slide the glass cylinder free, and screw the replacement tubular bulb directly into the exposed E27 socket.
Will clear glass cause glare if used at eye level?
Because the shade is transparent glass, high-lumen clear bulbs can feel harsh at eye height. We recommend pairing it with warm (2200K–2700K) amber or frosted tubular LED filaments running between 3W to 5W each, or wiring it to a wall dimmer switch so you can adjust the ambient glow to your preference.
