A single alabaster sphere hangs from a slim black chain, its surface carrying faint, natural veining that only shows clearly once it's lit. The round black canopy and matte chain stay deliberately plain, so the pale stone ball is the only thing that draws the eye.
Lit, the glow comes through the whole sphere evenly rather than from one bright point, giving it the look of a small, warm moon – suited to a single drop beside a bed, or a cluster of several spaced along a kitchen island or staircase.

FAQ
What's different between Model A and Model B for the single-head option?
It's the mounting, not the cylinder itself. Model B runs on two ceiling points: one chain drops straight down to the shade, while a second chain angles in from a separate plate off to the side, meeting it partway down. Model A mounts from a single central point instead. If your ceiling only has one convenient fixing spot, or you'd rather not deal with a second plate, Model A is the simpler install.
Can I hang each sphere at a different height for a staggered look?
Each chain is listed as 100cm and adjustable, so if the multi-head version uses individual chains per sphere, you should be able to vary the drop of each one once it's installed. If they're grouped on a shared fitting instead, the amount of stagger you can achieve may be more limited – worth asking us which setup applies to your order.
Does the veining in the alabaster show up clearly, or is it barely visible?
In the product photo, the veining reads as soft and subtle rather than bold streaks – it becomes more visible once the sphere is lit from within, similar to how a paper lantern shows its texture better lit than unlit. Expect a gentle, cloud-like pattern rather than dramatic marbling.
Is there a switch built into the fixture, or do I need a separate one?
There's no switch on the fixture itself – it needs to be wired to an external wall switch to control the power, and that switch isn't included. This is a job for a qualified electrician rather than a plug-in installation.
Can I use it in a bathroom with good airflow?
It's rated IP20 and damp-rated, which covers typical indoor humidity, but it isn't waterproof, so avoid installing it directly over a shower, bath, or anywhere it could take a direct splash. A powder room or a bathroom spot away from water sources would be a safer fit than a wet zone.
How do I clean a sphere shape without it rolling or slipping out of my hand?
Switch it off and let it cool, then cup the sphere gently in one hand while wiping with a soft, dry cloth in the other, rather than trying to spin it in place – since it's still attached to the chain above, there's less risk of it slipping than cleaning a loose object, but avoid applying sideways pressure that could strain the chain link at the top.
