Verve Wireless Task Lamp
A small cordless lamp for the corner of a desk, the side of a sofa, or anywhere a wall outlet doesn't reach. The angled top reflects light downward instead of outward, so it throws a contained pool onto the surface below — bright enough to read by, soft enough not to glare across a dim room. The body is a single piece of die-cast aluminum on a weighted round base; touch the stem to switch on, touch again to step the brightness down. Charges over USB on its base, and the battery runs for several hours per charge. Available in five matte finishes.

The Verve charges over USB on its base; a 100 cm / 39.4″ USB cable is included. Once charged, lift the lamp off the dock and use it anywhere in the room — there's no cord trailing from the lamp itself. The battery runs for several hours per charge depending on brightness setting; recharge from any USB-A outlet, laptop port, or phone charger.

Use & Care
- Charge fully before first use — plug the included USB cable into the base, then into any USB-A power source (USB adapter not included).
- Touch the metal stem once to turn on at full brightness; touch again to step the brightness down; touch and hold or repeat to cycle off.
- The lamp is designed for indoor use on a flat surface. Do not use outdoors, near water, or in damp locations — the body is metal but the internal electronics are not sealed against moisture.
- Wipe the body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents, abrasives, or wet cloths on matte finishes — they will mark.
- Battery life shortens with full discharge cycles. For longest battery service, top up before the lamp dies completely rather than running it flat repeatedly.
- The integrated LED is sealed inside the reflector and is not user-replaceable.
FAQ
How long does a charge last?
Several hours per full charge, depending on brightness. At the lowest dim setting, runtime is longest; at full brightness, runtime is shortest. The lamp can also be used while plugged in if you need it to run continuously — just leave it docked on the charging base while it's on.
Is the light bright enough to read by?
Yes, for the area directly under the angled top — the lamp puts a defined pool of light on the surface below it, suitable for reading a book, working on a laptop, or task work at close range. It is not designed to light a full room. If you want ambient room lighting, pair the Verve with a ceiling or floor fixture.
Does it come with a USB plug adapter?
The 100 cm USB-A cable is included, but a wall plug adapter is not — the cable is designed to plug into any USB-A power source you already have, including a phone charger, laptop USB port, or USB power strip. If you need a standalone wall adapter, any 5V USB-A charger will work.
Can I use it outdoors on a patio or balcony?
For occasional dry-evening use on a covered patio, yes — the lamp is cordless, so taking it outside is practical. For unprotected outdoor use, no — the body and base are not sealed against rain, dew, or humidity. Bring it inside before weather changes.
Can the battery be replaced when it wears out?
The battery is internal and not user-replaceable. Like most cordless task lamps in this category, the battery is sealed inside the base. With normal use, the cell should last several years before noticeable runtime drop; if the lamp stops holding a charge after that, contact us about service.
How long until it ships?
