Finding the
Right Size Fan
for Your Space
Choosing the correct blade span is the single most important decision
when purchasing a ceiling fan light. An undersized fan will not move enough
air; an oversized fan can feel visually heavy and reduce airflow efficiency.
Step 1 - Calculate Your Room Area
Measure the length and width of your room in feet, then multiply.

Step 3 - Adjust for Ceiling Height
High ceilings or outdoor spaces:
Size up. Taller rooms require more blade sweep to move air efficiently
down to floor level. For ceilings over 10 ft, choose a fan one size larger
than the table suggests where possible. Keep 8-9 ft of clearance between
floor and blade tips.
Sloped or vaulted ceilings:
For ceiling angles under 25°, use a single angle-adapter bracket.
For angles over 25°, a hook-mount system is required.
Include the exact angle in order notes.

Section 03 - Installation
How to Install Your
Ceiling Fan Light
Proper installation is critical to safety, performance,
and noise prevention. A licensed electrician with ceiling fan
installation experience is strongly recommended.
Ceiling type requirements:
Ceiling fan lights must be mounted to solid wood, concrete,
or reinforced ceiling structure. They cannot be installed
on standard drywall or hollow gypsum board ceilings.
A fan-rated mounting box is required.
Pre-Installation Checklist

Verify ceiling type
Confirm your ceiling is solid wood, concrete, or reinforced.
Fan weight requires a structurally sound anchor point.

Check ceiling height
Minimum 8 ft floor-to-ceiling. Blade tips must clear at least
7 ft from the floor. Recessed ceilings may need an extension rod.

Confirm wiring
A standard single-wire ceiling outlet allows wall-switch
control of the light only. The fan motor is controlled
by remote only.

Note sloped ceiling angle
Under 25°: use an angle adapter.
Over 25°: request a hook-mount bracket before installation.

Unbox and inspect all components
Check blades, hardware, canopy, receiver, and remote
against the packing list. Report missing or damaged
parts before installation.

Install by a qualified electrician
Mount the bracket, connect wiring, attach the motor housing,
install blades in the correct orientation,
then fit the light source last.
Blade direction matters:
Blades installed in reverse reduce airflow and may generate noise.
Blade brackets should angle upward toward the ceiling before tightening.
Extension Rods / Downrods
For recessed ceilings, coffered ceilings, or any installation
where the fan cannot sit flush against the ceiling surface,
an extension rod is required.
Without sufficient downrod clearance, the blades may spin
inside the recess without moving air into the room.
Rule of thumb:
The bottom of the blade sweep should be at least 8-10 inches
below any ceiling recess or surface obstruction.
Provide your ceiling recess depth to receive the correct rod length.
Section 04 - Remote Control
Pairing Your Remote
& Understanding Controls
These ceiling fan lights use a 433MHz RF remote receiver,
not infrared. The remote does not require line-of-sight,
but nearby devices using the same frequency can occasionally interfere.
How to Pair the Remote

Turn off the wall switch
Switch the wall breaker or wall switch off completely.
Wait a full 60 seconds so the receiver fully powers down.

Turn on the wall switch
Restore power. The receiver enters pairing mode
for approximately 10 seconds.

Press the pairing button immediately
Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Pair/Learn button.
The fan or light will confirm pairing with a brief flash or beep.

Test all functions
Try each speed button and the light on/off.
If functions do not respond, repeat pairing from step 1.
Pairing One Remote to Multiple Fans
To control two or more fan lights with one remote,
repeat the pairing process for each fan.
All fans paired to the same remote will respond
to every command together.

Wall switch for on/off only,

Remote only. Use speed buttons 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Fan speed cannot be controlled by wall switch.

Interference note:
433MHz is shared with other household remotes and smart devices.
If the fan turns on unexpectedly, re-pairing resets the code
and usually resolves the issue.

Common Issues
& How to Resolve Them
Most issues fall into four categories:
noise, lighting, motor/airflow, and remote control.
Use the accordion items below to match
the symptom and solution.

The fan makes a rattling or clicking noise during operation
Most likely cause:
loose blade screws or hardware deformed during shipping.

Turn off power and tighten all blade mounting screws firmly.

Inspect each blade bracket for shipping deformation.
-
Ensure blades do not touch the decorative shroud
or motor housing.

Noise increases with fan speed
Cause:
blade imbalance or wobble amplified at higher RPM.

Use a balancing kit to identify the imbalanced blade.

Check that all blades are installed
at the same angle and height.

Ensure the motor mount and canopy fasteners are tight.

Unusual noise only at the highest speed
Slight imbalance may only become obvious at maximum RPM.
Balance the blades.
For large fans over 60",
slight movement at maximum speed can be normal;
speed 4 is recommended for daily use.

Fan vibration creates humming resonance in the ceiling
Cause:
mounting vibration is being transferred
into a hollow ceiling cavity.

Confirm the fan is mounted to a solid wood joist,
concrete beam, or reinforced structure.

Add vibration-dampening washers
between canopy and bracket.

Check that the ceiling box is flush
and canopy ring is tight.

Light worked for one second after installation, then went out
The LED module or bulb may have been damaged during shipping
or may be defective.
Turn off power, inspect the light module for visible damage,
and replace with a compatible module
or request a warranty replacement.

Fan works but light does not turn on
Re-seat the light module connector.
Turn off power, remove the light module,
push the connector firmly until it clicks,
then test again.
If the connector is secure and the light still fails,
the LED module needs replacement.

Light flickers intermittently or after 1-2 weeks
Check LED driver connections first.
If the wiring is secure and flicker persists,
the LED driver is defective
and should be replaced under warranty.

Light flickers 30-40 seconds after the fan starts
This usually indicates LED driver overheating
or driver failure.
Replace the driver and make sure decorative covers
do not block heat dissipation.

Can warm white be upgraded to stepless dimming?
Yes.
Upgrading to CCT dimming requires replacing
the LED light source module,
the remote/receiver set,
and the connecting wiring between driver and module.

Fan has no airflow despite running at full speed
Two common causes:

Recessed ceiling without a downrod:
the blades spin inside the recess
and cannot push air into the room.

Blades installed in reverse:
bracket arms should angle upward toward the ceiling.

Fan suddenly stopped after working for 1-2 weeks
Check that the wall switch is on,
verify power at the ceiling outlet,
and re-pair the remote.
If the remote indicator works
but the fan does not respond,
the RF receiver may need replacement.

Inspect that unit for blade-to-shroud contact,
loose hardware, or bent blade brackets.
If noise persists,
that specific motor may have a manufacturing defect.

This indicates possible RF receiver/controller failure.
Confirm power, re-pair the remote,
and replace the receiver
if the fan still does not respond.

and re-pair the remote from scratch.

Run the fan on low speed for a few minutes
every 2-3 weeks.
In winter, use reverse direction
to recirculate warm air.

Depleted batteries left in a remote
can corrode and damage battery contacts.
Replace annually
or when response becomes intermittent.

Clean blades every 2-3 months
Dust adds uneven weight
and increases wobble.

on iron or solid wood blades.
