That depends on the bulbs you choose. Twelve sockets give you room to go bright, but low-wattage LED bulbs keep the total output moderate. Choose warm white (around 2700K) dimmable LEDs and put the fixture on a dimmer, and you can run it as a soft dinner light or turn it up for everyday use.

E12 is the small "candelabra" base found in most US homes, so the bulbs are easy to buy in any hardware store. LED, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs all work. LED is the practical choice here: with 12 bulbs, it runs much cooler and uses far less power than incandescent.

The fixture accepts 110V to 240V, which covers the US, Canada, the UK, the EU and most of Asia. Two things to check on your side: the bulbs must be rated for your local voltage, and E12 bulbs are less common outside North America, so it is worth ordering bulbs before the fixture arrives.

A common rule is to choose a fixture at least 12″ narrower than the table so nothing hangs past the edge. Measure your table, subtract 12″, and pick the largest listed size that fits under that number. If your ceiling is low, the smaller size is the safer pick.

Partly. The glass is clear, but the vertical ribbing scatters the light, so the bulbs look broken up and sparkly and not like bare points. How much of the bulb you see depends on the angle. Dimming the bulbs cuts glare when you are seated close to the fixture.

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool first. Dust the panels with a soft brush or a dry microfiber cloth. For marks, dampen a cloth with glass cleaner and wipe the glass. Do not spray the cleaner directly onto the fixture, because it can run onto the brass finish.
