A tall, rounded oval of white alabaster stands out from the wall, with a single brushed brass band wrapped around its middle. The stone is white with soft clouds of cream running through it, and when the light is on, the whole oval glows warmly from within, like a lantern or a large pebble of light.

Is the shade real alabaster? Will mine look like the photo?
The shade is listed as alabaster, a natural stone, so every one has its own pattern of clouds, veins and tone. Yours will be similar to the photo, with the same milky white and soft cream drifts, but not identical. Alabaster is translucent, so when the light is on, the stone glows warmer and creamier than it looks when it is off.
Which size should I choose?
The shorter one is 5″ wide and 9.6″ tall (about 13 × 24cm), which suits a small wall, a narrow gap or a pair on either side of a bed. The taller one is 5.6″ wide and 15.8″ tall (about 14 × 40cm), which gives a stronger vertical line and suits a hallway, a stairwell or a higher wall. Measure the space on your wall before you order, and remember that the stone also glows around the brass band, so the lit area looks larger than the band.
Can I change the LED when it stops working?
The light source is listed as LED. Whether the LED is a built-in module or a bulb you can swap, and its wattage and colour temperature, are not listed, so please ask us before you order if you need to know.
Can I dim it?
No. The light is controlled by a push button switch and is not dimmable, so do not connect it to a dimmer.
Does it work in my country, and how is it installed?
The light runs on 110–240V, so the fixture itself suits most countries. It is a wall-mounted light, so fitting it to your wall wiring should be done by a qualified electrician who follows your local rules. Ask us before you order if you need details on how it connects to the power supply.
How do I clean the alabaster and the brass? Can I use it in a bathroom?
Switch off the power and let the light cool. Dust the stone with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Alabaster is a soft stone that scratches and stains easily and reacts to acids, so avoid water, vinegar, lemon, glass cleaner and abrasive pads. Wipe the brass band with a dry cloth. It is for indoor use only, and no water-protection rating is listed, so keep it away from showers, sinks and damp spaces.
