A true focal point flanking our master bedroom upholstered headboard. The stone shield eliminates direct filament hotspots completely, creating a relaxing environment for late-night reading before sleep. It operates dead silent on our electronic dimmer with zero driver hum.
Sourced two of these sculptural fixtures for a client primary suite styled in warm wabi-sabi minimalism. The coiled, charcoal rope texture along the ceramic pedestal brings earthy, primitive craft into the space while the alabaster sleeve emits a calm, spa-like aura. When paired with a 2700K warm LED bulb, the lamp functions like an illuminated totem that anchors the room against our lime-plaster walls.
Genuine carved alabaster drum with authentic cool mineral weight. The dark metal cradle holds the heavy stone sleeve securely with four vertical prongs, keeping everything centered. Keep in mind that natural stone variance is very real; the rear face of my stone cylinder has slightly deeper amber veining than the front, but that organic character proves it was cut from real quarried rock rather than synthetic resin.
Absolute showpiece on our living room sideboard. The soft amber diffusion through the veined stone creates a tranquil, boutique-hotel warmth that dinner guests constantly compliment.
The vertical proportions are balanced and stately. It provides generous ambient diffusion without protruding far into the walkway, making it an ideal accent for tight bedroom alcoves.
Looks far more curated than standard department store showroom lighting. The dark charcoal pillar grounds our neutral linen drapery effortlessly. The inline cord switch works fine, though placing it slightly closer to the base collar would make bedside reach even more convenient.
Clean assembly right out of the crate. Setting the alabaster sleeve into the four metal cradle arms was straightforward, though having clean cotton gloves on hand prevented finger oils from transferring onto the matte stone during installation.
Placed this sculptural lamp on our low walnut credenza in the den, and the organic presence after sunset is mesmerizing. The carved alabaster cylinder diffuses the bulb into a warm, candlelit glow that reveals cloudy mineral feathering within the stone without leaking harsh glare into seated eye level. The rough, coiled black stoneware base has incredible tactile grit that contrasts against the smooth honed stone, and the low center of gravity keeps it rock steady.
Sturdy build, clean brazing on the metal cradle, and dependable electrical components. The diffused glow illuminates paperwork in my study corner comfortably without causing reflections on my computer monitor.
Replaced a generic metal lamp on our entryway console table. The narrow cylindrical footprint leaves plenty of functional tabletop space for mail trays and key bowls. Because the coiled ceramic base has deep horizontal ridges, dust can settle into the grooves over time, so running a dry soft bristle brush around the stem once a month keeps the textured stoneware looking sharp.
Unboxing was effortless thanks to custom-molded high-density foam that kept the heavy stone drum and ceramic base completely secure during transit. The dark stoneware finish coordinates cleanly with our blackened iron cabinet hardware.
Heavy textured ceramic base, genuine carved stone cylinder, and a wonderfully soft reading light beside our leather wingback chair.
Solid construction throughout with reassuring heft. The lamp stays firmly planted on our oak sideboard even when our golden retriever brushes past the furniture.
