A tall, gently curved panel of alabaster stands a little way in front of a flat brass back plate, held in place by small square brass posts at the top and bottom. The light sits between the stone and the plate, so the stone glows from behind and the brass catches the warm light and throws it back onto the wall. The stone is white with soft cream and honey tones and faint grey veins, and every panel is different.
It is 4.8″ wide and 11.9″ tall, a slim wall light for either side of a bed, a hallway, a stairwell, a dressing area or a living room wall. It suits a calm, modern or classic room where you want natural stone and brass in a quiet, upright shape.

Is the panel real alabaster? Will mine look like the photo?
The panel is listed as alabaster, a natural stone, so every one has its own pattern of clouds, veins and tone. Yours will be similar to the photo, but not identical, and some panels are whiter while others carry more cream, honey or grey. Alabaster is translucent, so when the light is on, the stone glows warmer and more golden than it looks when it is off.
It takes an E14 bulb. Will my home bulbs fit?
E14 is a small screw base that is common in Europe and much of Asia. It is not the same as E12, the small candelabra base used in many US homes, and the two do not swap, so check the base printed on the bulb box before you buy. You can use an LED bulb or an Edison-style bulb. A warm white bulb (about 2700K) gives the creamiest glow through the stone. The maximum bulb wattage is not listed, so ask us before you fit a high-wattage bulb.
Can I dim it?
No. The light is controlled by a push button switch and is not dimmable, so do not connect it to a dimmer. If you want a softer light, choose a lower-output warm white bulb.
Can I read by it? How bright is it?
The alabaster spreads the light into a soft, warm glow, so it works best as ambient or accent light on a wall, for example on both sides of a bed or along a hallway. For reading in bed, choose a bright LED bulb or add a separate reading light.
Does it work in my country, and how is it installed?
The light runs on 110–240V, so the fixture itself suits most countries. It is a wall-mounted light, so fitting it to your wall wiring should be done by a qualified electrician who follows your local rules. Ask us before you order if you need details on how it connects to the power supply.
How do I clean the alabaster and the brass? Can I use it in a bathroom?
Switch off the power and let the bulb cool. Dust the stone with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Alabaster is a soft stone that scratches and stains easily and reacts to acids, so avoid water, vinegar, lemon, glass cleaner and abrasive pads. Wipe the brass with a dry cloth. The panel is fragile, so handle it with care when you change the bulb. It is for indoor use only, and no water-protection rating is listed, so keep it away from showers, sinks and damp spaces.
