A low-profile textured glass canopy floats horizontally beneath a matte black ceiling rose, suspended by dual aircraft cables. Cast with a rough rock-face or molten ice underside, the shallow dish conceals interior sockets that spread warm, glare-free light upward and across the irregular textured surface below.
With a vertical profile of only 4 to 6 inches, its boat-like profile anchors long surfaces without cutting through room sightlines—an ideal alternative to bulky box chandeliers over kitchen islands, low-clearance dining tables, or executive desks.

FAQ
How do I keep the boat-shaped glass horizontal and prevent tilting during installation?
The fixture uses twin suspension cables with clutch-lock adjusters at the ceiling plate. Because thick art glass carries natural micro-variations in edge weight, leveling requires two steps: mount the canopy, seat your bulbs and inner tray, and then use a small bubble level on the glass rim while depressing the cable clutches to fine-tune each wire down to the millimeter.
What bulb size fits inside the shallow glass profile?
The total dish depth is only 4 to 6 inches, so bulb height is restricted. Standard pear-shaped A19 bulbs will protrude above the glass lip. Use compact tubular (T25) or small golf-ball (G45) E14 LED bulbs rated under 80mm in total length to ensure the light source sits entirely flush within the recessed trough.
Does the textured glass cast uneven glare or shadows down onto a dining table?
No. The dense, irregular chiseled texture acts as a natural diffuser. Instead of projecting sharp shadows or filament hot spots, it refracts downward light into an even, water-like caustic pattern while bouncing a soft ambient spill across the ceiling.
Does this pendant require reinforced ceiling blocking?
The 19.7″ model can be supported by a standard ceiling electrical box. However, the 35.5″ and 51.2″ models feature solid, thick cast glass trays weighing between 8kg and 16kg. We advise fastening the canopy mounting crossbar into a ceiling joist or using heavy-duty toggle anchors directly through structural backing rather than relying on drywall plugs alone.
How do I replace bulbs or clean accumulated dust from the glass tray?
Bulbs can be replaced by reaching directly into the open top of the tray without taking down the fixture or disconnecting wires. For cleaning, wipe the smooth interior using a damp microfiber cloth; for the rough chiseled exterior, use a soft bristle brush or compressed air duster to clear dust from the textured crevices without snagging cloth fibers.
Can this fixture be shortened for a room with an 8-foot (2.4m) ceiling?
Yes. The cables feed up into the canopy, allowing you to shorten the drop down to roughly 10–12 inches below the ceiling. Because the glass dish itself is extremely shallow (4″–6″), it maintains over 6.5 feet of head clearance above standard floor level, or mounts comfortably 30″ to 34″ above an 8-foot dining table or counter.
