Curved glass petals are mounted on two chrome rings, a wide ring on top and a narrower one below, so the fixture reads as two stacked rows of petals. In the white version, each petal is milky white in the middle with a clear edge, which lets the bulbs glow through softly without showing as bright points.

It hangs from a round chrome ceiling plate on thin wires. There are two versions: 16 lights with an 80cm top ring, and 20 lights with a 100cm top ring. Both are large, statement pieces for a long dining table, a double-height entryway, or a wide living room.

FAQ

Should I choose the 16-light or the 20-light version?

Go by the width of the space under it. The 16-light version has an 80cm (31.5″) top ring, and the 20-light version has a 100cm (39.4″) top ring. The 20-light also has a wider lower tier, 60cm (23.6″) against 50cm (19.7″), and adds four more bulbs. Both hang at the same listed height of 150cm.

How big a table does each size suit?

A common rule is to pick a fixture at least 12″ narrower than the table. For the 31.5″ top ring, that is a table about 44″ wide or larger. For the 39.4″ top ring, it is a table about 51″ wide or larger. Both suit a long rectangular table, where the fixture can sit along its centre line.

The height is 150cm. Will it fit under my ceiling?

That is a long drop, about 59″, so check it against your ceiling before you order. Over a table you want the bottom of the fixture about 30″ to 36″ above the tabletop, and in a walkway at least 7 feet above the floor. Send us your ceiling height and we will confirm the wire length you need. Longer wires are available on request.

How many bulbs do I need, and which kind?

One E14 bulb per light, so 16 or 20 depending on the version. LED bulbs are the practical choice with this many sockets: they use far less power and run cooler than Edison bulbs. Buy all the bulbs in the same colour temperature so the whole fixture glows evenly. E14 is slightly wider than the E12 base common in the US, so check the base on the box.

Can I dim it?

Dimming is not listed for this chandelier. It is listed as compatible with common wall switches, which are not included. If you want to use a dimmer, ask us first so we can confirm it works with your bulbs and setup.

What does the white version look like when lit?

The petals are milky white in the centre with a clear edge, so the light looks soft and slightly cloudy and the clear rims catch a little sparkle. You see a glow in the glass and not the bulb itself. It reads as a bright, warm-toned feature light, with the exact warmth set by the bulbs you choose.

How do I clean so many petals?

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool. Work from the top ring to the lower ring, so dust falls onto petals you have not cleaned yet. Use a soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth, and hold each petal steady with your other hand. For marks, use a cloth lightly dampened with water and keep liquids off the chrome.
