A true focal point flanking our master bedroom upholstered headboard. The stone doughnut completely encases the light source, creating a relaxing environment for late-night reading before sleep. It operates dead silent with zero electronic buzzing or transformer hum.
Sourced two of these sculptural fixtures for a client primary suite styled in warm wabi-sabi minimalism. The dialogue between the dense black veined base and the glowing, rounded stone torus brings an earthy, primitive craft into the room. When connected to a rotary dimmer at thirty percent, the illuminated ring functions like a glowing celestial sculpture that softens our lime-plaster walls.
Genuine carved alabaster and authentic black marquina marble with noticeable mineral density. The white calcite veins running through the dark cylindrical base contrast against the warm, backlit stone collar. Keep in mind that natural stone variance is very real; the veining on my shade has darker caramel fissures across one side than shown in the studio pictures, but that natural distinction confirms each piece was lathed from real quarried rock rather than cast synthetic resin.
Absolute showpiece on our living room sideboard. The soft amber diffusion through the veined stone ring creates a tranquil, boutique-hotel warmth that dinner guests constantly compliment.
The low-profile horizontal proportions are balanced and stately. It provides generous ambient diffusion without protruding far into the room, making it an ideal accent piece for shallow floating shelves and narrow consoles.
Looks far more curated than standard department store showroom lighting. The dark charcoal stone grounds our neutral linen drapery effortlessly. Dust does settle along the flat black metal disc on top over time, so running a dry microfiber cloth across the lid once a week keeps the finish looking sharp.
Clean assembly right out of the crate. The internal LED module emits virtually zero heat against the thick stone walls, keeping the outer alabaster collar cool to the touch even after running all evening.
Placed this stout stone lamp on our low walnut credenza in the den, and the organic presence after sunset is mesmerizing. The thick torus-shaped alabaster shade diffuses the internal light into a warm, candlelit glow that reveals cloudy amber mineral feathering without projecting harsh forward glare into seated eye level. The heavy black marble cylinder anchors the lamp with exceptional stability, though lifting it requires two hands because solid stone carries serious weight.
Sturdy build, precision machining on the recessed stone collar, and dependable electrical components. The diffused amber glow illuminates paperwork in my study corner comfortably without causing reflections on my computer monitor.
Replaced a generic metal desk lamp on our entryway console table. The compact cylindrical footprint leaves plenty of functional tabletop space for mail trays and key bowls. The inline cord switch operates with a solid mechanical click, though the clear power cord was slightly stiff out of the packaging and took a few days to relax flat along the wall.
Unboxing was effortless thanks to custom-molded high-density foam that kept the heavy marble base and rounded stone ring completely secure during transit. The honed black marble finish coordinates cleanly with our blackened iron cabinet hardware.
Solid black marble pillar, genuine carved stone doughnut, and a wonderfully soft reading light beside our leather armchair.
Solid construction throughout with massive stability. The heavy marble base and low center of gravity ensure the lamp stays firmly planted on our oak sideboard even when our golden retriever brushes past the furniture.
