A rectangular block of natural alabaster forms the base, its veining running vertically beneath a tapered white drum shade. Two gold beaded pull chains hang near the top of the block, and a small gold finial caps the shade. At 13.8 inches wide and 24.4 inches tall, it works on a nightstand, console, or side table where a solid, sculptural base matters.
