It will have the same shape and gold details, but the stone pattern will be its own. The slab is natural alabaster, so the grey streaks, white clouds, and warm cream areas fall differently on every piece. It isn't designed to light a whole room or work as a reading light, so add a ceiling light or lamp for tasks.

The compact one is 20cm (7.9") by 20cm, and it works well on small walls, above a bedside, or as part of a group. Both are only 4.5cm (1.8") deep, so they sit close to the wall, which helps in narrow corridors. A common starting point is hanging the center around 150cm from the floor. Cut a piece of paper to size and tape it to the wall to preview it first.

The gold appears on the metal parts, the thin line down the stone and the two round details, and the stone itself is white and cream. It's a warm, soft tone rather than a bright shine, so it sits comfortably next to brushed brass or warm gold taps and handles. With chrome or black fixtures, it will read as a deliberate contrast, so try to keep the mix limited. Warm white or cream walls and natural wood make it look especially at home. It has a push button switch and isn't dimmable, so it can't be used with a dimmer. The sconce is wall mounted and runs on AC 110 to 240V, which suits most homes. If you're connecting it to wiring in the wall, a licensed electrician is the safe choice. Turn the power off at the breaker before anyone starts work. The shade is a solid stone slab, so fix it firmly with proper wall anchors or into a stud, especially the taller version.

It's made for indoor use and isn't rated for wet areas, so keep it away from direct splashes and heavy steam. Alabaster is a natural stone that can take in moisture, and a damp bathroom isn't a good place for it. To clean it, switch off the light and let it cool. A soft, dry cloth works for the stone and the gold parts. Alabaster is soft, so avoid abrasive pads, glass cleaner, and acidic products. For a mark, dab it with a barely damp cloth and dry the spot straight away.
