Each disc has its own swirl, so yours will have the same character as the photo but not the same arrangement. The discs are part clear and part cloudy, so from some angles you can see a softened bulb through the clear areas, while the white swirls hide it elsewhere. From a distance you mostly see glowing glass.

The listed maximum power is 15W, so use bulbs at or below that rating. LED bulbs are the easiest way to stay within the limit. Edison bulbs also fit, and their visible filament looks good through the clear parts of the glass. The socket is E14, which is slightly wider than the E12 base common in the US, so check the base printed on the box.

It is listed as compatible with common wall switches, which are not included. Dimming is not listed, so ask us first if you want to use a dimmer. It is rated IP20, which means no protection against water, so use it in dry indoor rooms only and not in a bathroom, over a shower or bathtub, or on a covered patio. It is hardwired, so use a licensed electrician if you are unsure about your wiring.
