Choose the shorter one for a lower ceiling and the taller one if you want more presence. For a table, a common rule is to pick a fixture at least 12″ narrower than the table, so at 31.5″ wide it suits a table about 44″ wide or larger.

Above the leaves, a ring of gold scrolls curls out from the central stem like a crown. Strands of pearl-style beads hang from the scrolls and sweep down in swags to the ring, and small clear drops hang between the strands and sparkle when the fixture is lit. They give the top of the chandelier a traditional look, which contrasts with the soft, modern white leaves below. When you install or move it, lift it by the frame and not by the strands or the drops.

Mostly not. The leaves are frosted, so they hide the bulbs and spread the light into a soft glow, with the veining showing as fine lines. The leaves overlap in two tiers, so from the side you see mostly glowing glass. Frosted glass absorbs some of the light, so choose bright warm white LEDs.

Each socket is E14, which is slightly wider than the E12 base common in the US, so check the base printed on the box. Each bulb can be up to 40W, so you have room for a bright light. LED bulbs are the easiest way to get plenty of light at low wattage, and they keep the glass cool. Ask us for the number of lights before you order, so you can buy enough bulbs.

A 19″ chain is included, and we can extend it if you ask. Over a table, a common guide is to hang the bottom 30″ to 36″ above the tabletop. In a walkway, keep the bottom at least 7 feet above the floor. Add the fixture height and the chain to see how much ceiling you need, or send us your ceiling height and where you want the bottom to sit, and we will confirm the chain length.

A fixture this size with a metal crown and many glass leaves is heavy, so ask us for the weight and check that your ceiling box and mounting can carry it. It is hardwired, and we recommend professional installation. It is listed as compatible with common wall switches, which are not included. Dimming is not listed, so ask us first if you want to use a dimmer. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only, so do not hang it in a bathroom.

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool. Work from the top down so dust falls onto parts you have not cleaned yet. Wipe each glass leaf with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, holding it steady with your other hand. Dust the pearl-style strands and the drops gently with a soft, dry cloth, without pulling. Keep liquid cleaners, alcohol and solvents off the beads and the gold finish.
