Solid construction throughout with reassuring heft. The sconce stays firmly locked against the wall bracket even when the heavy front entry door shuts in a draft.
Sourced six of these fixtures for an art gallery corridor in a warm brutalist residence. The faceted hexagonal spindle shape bridges classic Art Deco symmetry with contemporary architectural minimalism. Connected to our wall dimmer at thirty percent, the backlit stone radiates a serene, spa-like aura that softens our textured lime-plaster walls without leaking harsh forward glare.
Genuine carved alabaster with reassuring density and cool mineral weight. The brushed antique brass clips at the top, bottom, and sides hold the multifaceted stone body securely against the mounting frame. Keep in mind that natural stone variance is very real; the center facet on mine has slightly more honey-colored veining while the angled sides are cloudier, though that natural difference confirms each piece was carved from authentic quarried stone rather than molded composite.
Absolute showpiece in our powder room remodel. The soft amber diffusion through the veined stone creates a tranquil, boutique-hotel warmth that dinner guests constantly compliment.
Slim wall projection that meets ADA corridor clearance effortlessly. It casts a soft ambient wash top, bottom, and through the front stone facets without jutting out into the walking path. Be sure to handle the stone with clean cotton gloves during installation to prevent finger oils from marking the honed finish.
Looks far more curated than standard mass-market vanity lighting. The creamy stone texture balances out the dark walnut trim in our den. Dust does settle along the upper tapered point over time, so running a dry microfiber wand across the top edge once a month keeps the natural stone looking sharp.
Exceptional ambient light spread. The faceted stone block completely conceals the light source from seated eye level, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere along our media room back wall.
Clean electrical chassis and solid brass machining throughout. The integrated LED driver runs dead silent with zero humming, casting a balanced, flicker-free pool of warm light across the wall.
Mounted a pair of these tapered alabaster sconces along our entry gallery corridor, and the light gradient across the beveled stone edges is stunning. The center strip glows with a soft amber intensity while the angled stone flanks soften into a candlelit halo against the drywall. Tucking the wiring into the narrow central backplate took patient finger work, but once seated, the low-profile geometric silhouette hugs the wall cleanly.
Sturdy build, precision machining on the brass retaining tabs, and dependable electrical components. The warm ambient glow provides more than enough guidance down our dark basement corridor without overwhelming your eyes in the middle of the night.
Replaced two builder-grade globe fixtures on our stair landing. The vertical faceted profile covers the standard electrical junction box footprint cleanly. One of the side retention bracket screws was slightly tight out of the box, but a drop of mineral oil helped it seat completely flush against the brass bracket lip.
Heavy brass retention clips, genuine carved stone facets, and a restful ambient halo flanking our powder room vanity mirror.
A true focal point flanking our master bedroom upholstered headboard. The opaque density of the carved stone shields the light source completely from seated line of sight, making bedtime reading gentle on tired eyes. The satin brass finish has an understated luster that complements our neutral linen bedding.
