Is it red or orange? How strong is the colour?

It reads as a deep red-orange. Lit, the thick centre of each disc glows a warm orange and the edges stay a deeper red, while the clear rims catch the light as bright outlines. Unlit, it looks darker and more red. The colour is strong, so it works best as the one bold piece in a room with neutral walls and furniture.

Will each disc look like the ones in the photo?

Very close, but not identical. Each disc is shaped one piece at a time, so the depth of colour, the size of the dimple and the width of the clear rim vary a little from disc to disc. Your fixture will have the same character as the photo, with a slightly different mix of darker and lighter discs.

Which bulbs should I use, and can I dim it?

A warm white bulb deepens the orange and red and gives a cozy glow, while a cooler white will make the colour look lighter and slightly pinker. Each socket takes a 15W incandescent bulb or an LED that gives the same light. It works with dimmer switches, which are not included, and LED bulbs must be marked dimmable. The socket is E14, which is slightly wider than the E12 base common in the US.

How low will it hang, and what size table does it suit?

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool. The discs hang from thin hooks, so hold each disc steady with one hand and wipe it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth with the other. For fingerprints, use a cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid abrasive pads and strong chemical cleaners.
