There are two 60cm sizes with different heights. Which should I pick?

Both are 23.6″ wide. One is 10.6″ tall and the other is 14.6″ tall, so the taller one hangs 4″ lower and has a deeper, fuller profile. Choose the shorter one for a lower ceiling or a flatter, more modern look, and the taller one if you want more presence. For a table, a common rule is to pick a fixture at least 12″ narrower than the table, so the 19.7″ size suits a table about 32″ wide or larger, and the 23.6″ sizes suit a table about 36″ or larger.

Will I see the bulbs through the frosted shells?

Mostly not. The glass is frosted white, so the bulbs are hidden and each shell glows as a soft, creamy shape with the ribs showing as faint lines. The shells overlap in two layers, so from the side you see mostly glowing glass. Unlit, the fixture looks like pale sea shells in white and gold.

How much ceiling height does it need?

It hangs from a short gold rod, and the fixture itself is only 10.6″ to 14.6″ tall, so it needs far less height than a long-drop chandelier.
