Hand-Glazed Ceramic — Each One Slightly Different
The shade is glazed by hand, so every piece varies subtly in glaze depth, surface gloss, and how the color reads under light. Small drip lines, pinholes, or thin spots near the rim are characteristic of ceramic glazing, not defects. Order multiple units and they will coordinate in color but differ slightly in surface detail.
Integrated Warm-White LED · No Bulb Required
The LED is built into the fixture and runs at one warm-white color temperature. Not dimmable as standard — a dimmable build is available on request before shipping.

Installation
- Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Mounts to a standard wall junction box. Standard sconce height is 60–66" above the floor; for a bedside, mount slightly lower so the uplight reaches the headboard.
- Install with the shade opening facing up. Light projects upward and outward, so a light-colored ceiling above the sconce will bounce more light back into the room.
- Works with a standard wall switch (not included). Not dimmable as standard — contact us before ordering for a dimmable build.
- The integrated LED is sealed and not user-replaceable. Rated for typical residential use.
- Indoor dry locations only. Fine for powder rooms and dry vanity areas; not for full bathrooms with shower or tub steam.
- Clean the glazed ceramic with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners — they dull the glaze. Wipe the iron frame dry with a soft cloth.
FAQ
Which color should I pick for my room?▼
Cream is neutral and fits any palette — the safest pick for white walls or busy decor. Wine Red is deep and dramatic, working with dark walls, navy, or warm wood. Terracotta is a warm earthy red-brown that pairs with cream walls, leather, rattan, and Mediterranean or Southwestern decor. Olive Green is a muted vegetal green that suits sage, mustard, and natural-fiber interiors — very on-trend for current farmhouse and cottagecore palettes. For a pair flanking a headboard, use the same color; for an eclectic look, mix two.
Which direction does the light shine?▼
Mostly upward and outward through the open top of the shade. The ceramic shade is opaque, so light does not pass through its walls — it exits the open mouth at the top. That makes this an uplight / wall washer rather than a downlight, casting a warm pool of light on the ceiling and a soft ambient bounce into the room. It works as ambient light beside a bed, not as a focused reading light.
Will the colors look exactly like the photos?▼
Close, but not identical. Ceramic glaze is applied by hand and fired in batches, so color depth, gloss, and small surface details vary from piece to piece, and photos shift with lighting and screen calibration. The cream may read more yellow or more white, wine red can range from oxblood to true burgundy, terracotta can lean more brown or more orange, and olive can read more yellow-green or more muted. This is normal for hand-glazed ceramic.
Can I install it in a bathroom?▼
Powder rooms and dry vanity areas: yes — it works well beside a mirror. Full bathrooms with shower or tub steam: no — this fixture is rated for indoor dry locations only. The glaze itself is fine, but the internal electronics and iron frame are not sealed against moisture.
Does it come with a bulb?▼
No bulb needed — the LED is integrated into the fixture. There is nothing to buy, install, or replace. The trade-off: the light source is fixed at one warm-white color temperature, and if the LED ever fails, the fixture is serviced rather than re-bulbed.
