How big is it?
It comes in one size: the stone shade is 10 cm (3.9 in) wide and 20 cm (7.8 in) tall. It is slim enough for a narrow hallway wall or the space beside a bed, without crowding the area.
Can I use two as bedside lights?
Yes, a pair on either side of the bed is a natural fit. Each shade is cut from natural stone, so the veining will differ slightly between the two, which gives the pair a handmade look.
Is it real alabaster? Will mine look like the photo?
Yes, the shade is natural alabaster, which is translucent, so the light glows through the stone. The veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so yours will be close to the photo but never identical. The backplate and arm are metal in a gold finish.
What bulb does it take, and can I dim it?
It takes a G9 bulb, either LED or Edison. LED is the better choice because it runs cooler inside the stone shade, and a warm-white one gives a cozy glow. It is controlled by a wall switch and does not dim.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
It is wall mounted and runs on 110 to 240V AC, which covers household power in most countries. Because it is switched from the wall, it needs to be wired in, so we recommend a licensed electrician. An installation guide is available on the product page.
Can I put it in a bathroom?
It is for indoor use only, so keep it in a dry room such as a bedroom, hallway or living room. Steam and splashes are best avoided with natural stone.
