Overview
A thick slab of textured glass set into an iron frame. The glass is cast with a rough, ice-fractured surface that catches and scatters light from the integrated LED behind it. A three-sided iron framework wraps the slab, with a knurled detail on the support arm and a small geometric open square at the base. Standing 14.6" tall and projecting 5.7" from the wall, the Aelia is a vertical accent light — designed for a hallway, stairwell, beside a mirror, or flanking a bed. The light passes through the slab as a warm, broken glow rather than a clean beam, so the texture of the glass becomes the visible feature.

About the Glass — Textured Cast Glass, Not Cut Crystal
The slab is artisan cast glass with crystal-like clarity and a deliberately rough, ice-fractured surface. It is not faceted leaded crystal in the chandelier-prism sense — it is a single thick poured-and-textured glass panel. The ice-fracture surface is created during casting, so every slab's texture is slightly different and light breaks through differently from one sconce to the next. This is the intended look — the irregular surface is the design, not a flaw.
Integrated Warm-White LED · No Bulb Required
The LED is built into the fixture behind the glass slab and is not user-replaceable — there is no bulb to buy or swap. It runs at one warm-white color temperature. Not dimmable as standard; a dimmable build is available on request before ordering.

The Aelia is a vertical accent sconce — tall, narrow, and projecting moderately from the wall. It works singly in a powder room or beside a mirror, or in pairs flanking a bed, a fireplace, or a hallway console. Installation
- Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Mounts to a standard wall junction box. Confirm the box is rated and secured before mounting.
- Works with a standard wall switch (not included). Not dimmable as standard — do not pair with a dimmer unless you ordered the dimmable build.
- The integrated LED is sealed behind the glass slab and not user-replaceable. Rated for residential and light commercial use.
- When installing in pairs, measure carefully — the 5.7" projection means the sconce sits well off the wall, so allow clearance from door swings, mirrors, and walkways.
- The glass slab is thick and heavy relative to the frame. Handle by the brass frame during installation, not by the glass.
- Indoor dry locations only. Fine for powder rooms and dry vanity areas; not for full bathrooms with shower or tub steam.
- Clean the glass with a soft, dry or barely-damp microfiber cloth — the ice-fractured surface holds dust, so a soft brush helps. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the brass frame.

Is the slab real crystal or glass?▼
It is textured cast glass with crystal-like clarity — not faceted leaded crystal of the kind used in chandelier prisms. The slab is a single thick panel of poured glass given a rough ice-fractured surface during casting. "Crystal" is used here in the broad decorative-lighting sense. If you expect cut, faceted, sparkling prism crystal, this is a different material — a solid textured glass slab that glows rather than sparkles.
How far does it stick out from the wall?▼
5.7" — a moderate-to-deep projection for a wall sconce, so the fixture sits noticeably off the wall. Worth measuring before you install: in a narrow hallway, beside a door that swings toward the wall, or in a tight stairwell, make sure the projection won't be in the way. In an open hallway or flanking a bed, the projection is fine and gives the fixture presence.
Will my sconce's glass look exactly like the photo?▼
Close, but not identical. The ice-fractured surface is created during glass casting, and every slab cools with a slightly different texture pattern. The overall look — thick glass, rough fractured face, warm broken glow — is consistent, but the exact pattern of ridges and facets is unique to each piece. If you order a pair, expect them to coordinate closely but not match facet-for-facet.
Can I use it in a bathroom?▼
Powder rooms and dry vanity areas: yes — it works well flanking a mirror. Full bathrooms with shower or tub steam: no — this fixture is rated for indoor dry locations only, not for direct steam or splash exposure. For wet bathroom zones, choose a damp-rated or wet-rated fixture instead.
Does it come with a bulb?▼
No separate bulb — the LED is integrated, built into the fixture behind the glass slab. There is nothing to buy, install, or replace. The trade-off: the light source isn't swappable. It runs at one warm-white color temperature, and if the LED ever fails, the fixture is serviced rather than re-bulbed.
