A round alabaster medallion sits inside a brass ring on a rectangular brass base, topped with a fabric shade and a small ball finial. At 14.9 inches wide and 24.4 inches tall, it works as a statement piece on a console table or sideboard, or in a matched pair either side of a sofa or bed. Does it support dimming?

Whether it dims depends on the bulb you use. The bulb provided by default does not support dimming — if you install a dimmable bulb, note you may also need a compatible dimmer to control it, since the included switch is a standard push-button on/off.

What bulb should I buy?

This lamp takes a 40W E26 or E27 bulb, sold separately, either LED or Edison-style.

Do I need an electrician to set this up?

No — it's a plug-in lamp with a 59" cord. Just plug it into a standard outlet and screw in a bulb.

Why does my alabaster look different from the photo?

Each medallion is cut from natural alabaster, so veining and tone vary slightly piece to piece — this is expected, not a defect.

Natural alabaster is quarried, not manufactured — expect unique veining and color variation between pieces.
