— Our Three Promises —

How we keep your purchase protected

Lighting fixtures travel a long way before they reach your home. Three layers of protection — product safety, shipping insurance, and human-led claims support — make sure that journey ends well.

Pillar 01
Product safety

Every fixture is built to be safe in your home. We design to recognized U.S. lighting safety standards, source compliant components, and test before shipment. Hardwired fixtures are intended to be installed by a licensed electrician.

Pillar 02
Shipping insurance

Every order — domestic or international — ships with carrier insurance and our own coverage layered on top. If your package is damaged, lost, or stolen in transit, you don't pay the price. We do.

Pillar 03
Human claims support

When something goes wrong, you don't fight a chatbot or wait for a robotic case number. A trained team member handles your claim directly, communicates clearly, and resolves most cases within 5 business days.

What "built safely" means in practice

Safety isn't a single test at the end of the line — it's a series of decisions made throughout design and production. These are the standards every Liora fixture is built to meet.

Design & manufacturing

  • Code-compliant electrical componentsWiring, sockets, and connectors meet recognized U.S. residential safety standards
  • Heat-rated fixturesEach fixture is rated for the bulb wattage and temperature it's designed to operate within
  • Damp- and wet-location ratingsOutdoor and bathroom fixtures are rated specifically for their intended environment
  • RoHS-aligned materialsRestricted hazardous substances are kept out of our supply chain

Pre-shipment quality control

  • Visual inspectionEvery fixture is hand-inspected for finish defects, alignment, and packaging integrity
  • Electrical continuity testingEach unit is powered up and tested to confirm wiring and switching function correctly
  • Drop and vibration packagingCrystal and glass components ride in custom-fit foam or molded inserts to survive transit
  • Weight-rated mounting hardwareEach fixture ships with mounting hardware sized for its declared weight
Specific certification claims. Where a particular fixture has been certified by a recognized testing laboratory (such as UL, ETL, or equivalent), that information is listed in the specifications section of the individual product page. We make no certification claims beyond what is disclosed there.

— How to File a Claim —

Four steps, five business days

Most claims are resolved within five business days from the time we receive your initial email. Here's the path, and how to make it move quickly.

i
Photograph

Photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and the damaged item — multiple angles, well-lit.

ii
Email Us

Within 7 days of delivery for damage, or 30 days from ship date for lost packages. Include your order number.

iii
We Verify

A team member reviews your case and (if needed) opens a carrier claim on your behalf. You don't deal with the carrier.

iv
Resolution

Replacement shipped at no cost, or full refund issued — your choice. Most cases close within 5 business days.

Keep all packaging until your case closes. Carriers may require packaging photos or physical inspection to validate insurance claims. Discarding the box before resolution can void coverage.

Important Notes

This page describes our standard customer-facing safety practices and shipping protections — it does not constitute a legal product warranty. Specific written product warranties, where applicable, accompany individual fixtures and are governed separately. Where this page and a product's printed warranty differ, the printed warranty is the controlling document for that product.

Installation safety remains the customer's responsibility. Liora Lighting strongly recommends that all hardwired fixtures be installed by a licensed, qualified electrician. Damage, injury, or property loss arising from improper installation, modification, or use of any fixture is not covered by shipping insurance, by this page, or by general product warranty.

For complete legal terms governing your purchase and use of Liora Lighting products, please refer to our Terms of Service.
