Each glass element has a clear outer rim and milky centre that softly diffuses the light, while small gold details add warmth to the elongated silhouette. Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, and long consoles, this linear pendant provides elegant decorative lighting without visually overwhelming the space.

It is a long, slim fixture, only 5.1″ wide and 10.2″ tall, in two lengths: 31.5″ and 39.4″. It suits a dining table, a kitchen island, or a long console, including narrow tables where a wider fixture would overhang.

Rivage Wave Cloud Linear Pendant Details

Materials: Metal, glass

Finish: Gold frame, frosted white glass

Light source: LED bulb, G9 base

Voltage: AC 110–240V

Mounting: Ceiling, two chains on a bar canopy

Hanging chain: 30cm (11.8″), other lengths on request

Control: Compatible with common wall switches (not included)

Environment: Indoor use

IP rating: IP20 (not waterproof)

Size

L 31.5″ × W 5.1″ × H 10.2″

L 80cm × W 13cm × H 26cm

L 39.4″ × W 5.1″ × H 10.2″

L 100cm × W 13cm × H 26cm

Colour

Gold

FAQ

Which length suits my table?

A common rule for a linear fixture is a length of about half to two-thirds of the table's length. By that rule, the 31.5″ size suits a table roughly 4 to 5 feet long, and the 39.4″ size suits a table roughly 5 to 6.5 feet long or a longer island. At 5.1″ wide, it also fits over a narrow table of about 17″ or more, which most wider fixtures cannot. For a longer table, hang two in a row.

What is a G9 bulb, and which should I buy?

G9 is a small capsule bulb with two pins that push into the socket, with no screw thread, so E12, E14 and E26 bulbs will not fit. LED G9 bulbs are the right choice here, because they run cooler than halogen, and the bulbs sit close to the glass. Check that the box says G9 before you buy, and ask us for the number of lights in the length you want so you can buy enough bulbs.

Will I see the bulbs? How does it light the table?

Mostly not. The glass is frosted white, so the bulbs are hidden and each piece glows as a soft, creamy shape with a clear rim. The pieces run along the whole length of the wave, so the glow stretches along the table. Frosted glass absorbs some of the light, so choose bright warm white LEDs, and keep other lighting in the room if you read or work at the table.

How is it hung, and how low will it go?

It hangs from two chains, wrapped in gold-toned fabric, attached to a long bar canopy. The standard chain is 30cm (11.8″), and the length can be changed if you contact us. Over a table, a common guide is to hang the bottom 30″ to 36″ above the tabletop. In a walkway, keep the bottom at least 7 feet above the floor. Send us your ceiling height and where you want the bottom to sit, and we will confirm the chain length.

Do I need to check my ceiling before I order?

Yes. The bar canopy must be fixed to the ceiling box and supported by the ceiling structure, and the wiring must reach the right point on the bar. Ask us for the canopy length and the wiring position, and have a licensed electrician check your ceiling before you order.

Can I dim it? Can I use it in a bathroom?

It is listed as compatible with common wall switches, which are not included. Dimming is not listed, so ask us first if you want to use a dimmer. It is rated IP20, which means no protection against water, so it is for dry indoor rooms only, and not for a bathroom or a covered patio.

How do I clean the glass pieces?

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool. Wipe each piece with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, holding it steady with your other hand, because each piece is fixed with a small pin. Frosted glass shows fingerprints, so avoid touching it with bare hands. Keep liquid cleaners off the gold finish and the fabric chain covers.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0990/8761/4251/files/Rivage_Wave_Cloud_Linear_Pendant_1.webp?v=1792203254
